Visa International, the world’s leading payment solutions provider, has teamed up with UAE’s popular restaurants Chili’s and The Pizza Company inviting customers to  win fabulous prizes including two family trips to Disneyland® Resort Paris when paying for home deliveries with any Visa payment card. The promotion marks the beginning of a new era in home deliveries in the United Arab Emirates, introducing home diners to the convenience and safety of paying by their Visa card.

From now until 30th September, every convenient Visa card transaction made for home delivery from Chili’s or The Pizza Company will automatically enter home diners into a draw to win an Eid break of a lifetime! The offer includes two grand prizes, one from Chili’s and the other one from The Pizza Company, for a family of four to go to Disneyland® Resort Paris during Eid or before July 2007. Each prize is inclusive of flights and four nights accommodation for two adults and two children.

In addition to the grand prizes, all customers paying with their Visa cards during the promotion will automatically receive a gift voucher with their orders. The Pizza Company is offering a free ice cream with the next home delivery while Chili’s are providing a free tropical drink also with the next home delivery.

“This promotion is the perfect way to demonstrate to our UAE customers that paying with Visa payment cards instead of cash is safer, easier and more convenient. Visa cards can be used for much more than drawing cash from ATM’s; once cardholders become accustomed to using their Visa cards for everyday purchases, such as home deliveries, they will refrain from  returning to their old cash-and-carry habits”, says Stephen Coakley, Marketing Communications Manager for Visa International in the Middle East.

“Visa payment cards are specially useful when paying for home delivery orders as Visa cardholders do not have to make a special trip to the cash dispenser to pay for their order. As well as enjoying the privilege of special promotions such as this one with Chili’s and The Pizza Company, they can make secure purchases at any of the 24 million merchants around the world that accept Visa cards. In fact, thanks to the world wide acceptance of Visa cards, they can make purchases from almost any shop – any place, anytime and anywhere.”

Visa continuously strives to allow its customers to benefit from the safety, flexibility and convenience of using its payment cards by offering special promotions and expanding its network of merchants worldwide. This initiative by Visa, Chili’s and The Pizza Company is a first, marking the entry of credit and debit card payments to the home deliveries segment.

General Packet Radio Service or GPRS technology, a mobile payment terminal, was introduced to the Middle East market six months ago to make payments by Visa cards possible anywhere, and has previously been used in the travel industry mainly when delivering airline tickets to customers.

The promotion is valid when ordering from any of the four outlets for The Pizza Company in the Emirates, including its three Dubai branches located on Rigga Road, Al Diyafa Street and Dubai Healthcare City, in addition to Crystal Plaza in Sharjah. Customers can also participate in the promotion by ordering from any of the 11 Chili’s outlets located throughout the UAE.
