Who is Mohammad Umar?

Mohammad Umar is said to be a close associate of Adeel Ahmad Rather, a former senior resident doctor at the Government Medical College (GMC) in Anantnag.

Adeel Ahmad Rather was arrested last week after a police raid in Faridabad on Monday. Jammu and Kashmir revealed that it thwarted a terror plot, and seized explosives from Haryana's Faridabad, days after the Kashmiri doctor Adil Ahmad Rather was detained for allegedly putting up posters supporting "terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed in Srinagar".

The police reported that they found 350 kg of ammonium nitrate, assault rifles, and ammunition in Haryana's Faridabad.
