Three Palestinians were injured as Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes over the central Gaza Strip, on late Saturday.
Medical sources confirmed to Ma'an that three Palestinians were injured after an Israeli warplane fired at least one missile towards a target, east of al-Breij refugee camp, in central Gaza.
Sources described their injuries as minor.
The three injured were transferred to al-Shuhada Hospital, in central Gaza, to receive medical treatment.
According to the Israeli army, the Israeli warplane targeted and fired a missile towards a group of Palestinians who were allegedly launching incendiary balloon towards southern Israel.
In addition, Israeli warplanes carried out a number of airstrikes near the return camps, in southern Gaza. However, no injuries nor material damages were reported.
Hebrew-language news outlets also reported that red siren alerts were sounded in the Eshkol Regional Council, in southern Israel, as incendiary balloons landed near the Israel-Gaza border.
Sources added that no incendiary balloons landed in Israeli communities surrounding Gaza and exploded along the border.
