Western Digital (WD) Corporation is running a promotion for resellers, offering top performers a holiday to the Land of the Midnight Sun at the Artic Circle, complete with exotic adventures such as snow-mobiling, reindeer and huskydog sledging and a trip on an ice breaker.
The WD International Summer Incentive, which runs from July 4 to September 30, 2005, is linked to the sale of high capacity drives. For each high capacity drive sold, the resellers will be credited with “ice cube’ points. The higher the capacity of the drive, the higher the points. The first 15 sellers with the most Ice Cubes (minimum of 2,000) would be automatically qualified for the WD Experience, while another 15 would be selected through a random draw.
“Western Digital wanted to offer an out-of-the-world kind of an incentive to resellers,” said Hafeez Khawaja, WD’s Senior Regional Director, Middle East, Africa, South Asia. “The promotion is highly appropriate specially for summer, as it is not often that our trading partners get an opportunity to experience amazing adventures in the Arctic Circle. We are positive the prizes will provide a perfect incentive to promote the sales of WD drives.”
The incentive trip offers resellers exciting adventures like speeding with snowmobiles through snow, crashing through frozen sea on an icebreaker, enjoying a dinner in an igloo restaurant, sledging with fast huskies and reindeer through Lapland, enjoying the calming silence of Finland’s magical lakes and forests, crossing the magic Arctic Circle and topping off the trip with a Lumberjack dinner in a Finnish cottage.
