Welcare World, a leader in quality healthcare across the region, will be participating at this year’s Women’s Healthcare event - which will be held between the 23rd and the 26th April at the World Trade Center - and aiming to reinforce the message that the prevention of diseases affecting women – and being equipped with the knowledge to stay healthy for life - is better than cure.
 
As part of the regional healthcare leaders’ participation at the event, a number of Welcare representatives will be on hand to dispense information on all manner of healthcare issues that affect the everyday lives of women in the region today, from the importance of eating a balanced diet to methods of detecting breast cancer, to information and facts on cosmetic surgery.
 
Dr. Ottmar Schmidt, Welcare World Marketing and PR Director commented; “This event provides the ideal forum for us to reach out to as many women as possible about the broad number of healthcare topics and cosmetic surgery procedures that we specialize in. Our message to women, like to all of our patients, is that being equipped with knowledge about healthy living, is the key to staying healthy for life.”
 
Any woman that visits the stand will be able to register with Welcare World to receive further healthcare information and alerts about the topics that interest them, and to take copies of Welcare World unique guides; A Woman’s Guide to Healthy Living – Obstetrics and Gynecology and Breast Cancer Care, and A Woman’s Guide to Beauty which contains information on Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Cosmetic Dentistry and IntraLASIK.
 
The guide to healthy living outlines a number of topics that resonate strongly in the lives of women in the region, including Welcare World’s expertise in antenatal care and gynecological services including screening and vaccinations. The guide also contains a wealth of information outlining how knowledge is the best defence against breast cancer, including recommendations on examinations, in addition to the screening and health check-up packages Welcare offers for the ‘well woman’.
 
Set out in the guide to beauty is Welcare World’s diverse and specialised range of cosmetic surgery for a wide range of reconstructive surgery needs including for burn and post-burn reconstruction, lower limb reconstruction and birth defects.
