The Wave, Muscat Participates in Arabian Travel Market
Travel and tourism industry specialists await the Arabian Travel Market, as every year it promises to bring together major industry players from all over the region. The Wave, Muscat this year will showcase Oman as an unrivalled destination for tourism and leisure at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM).
Speaking on The Wave, Muscat’s participation, Nick Smith, CEO The Wave, Muscat said “Our participation in the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai comes under the over all collective effort to promote the country as an important tourist destination in the region, we are exhibiting under the umbrella of the Ministry of Tourism as part of the Sultanate of Oman’s stand. The Wave, Muscat seeks exposure regionally and internationally for its unique tourism characteristics, that are now taking shape rapidly.”

The Wave, Muscat, being developed through a joint venture comprising Oman’s Waterfront Investments (representing the Government of the Sultanate of Oman), National Investment funds Company (representing the Omani Pension Funds), and the UAE-based Majid Al Futtaim Group will enrich life in the heart of the city and will deliver beautiful freehold homes in a thriving community featuring Oman’s first links golf course, 3 luxury hotels and 300 berth marina. It will soon become a global benchmark for real estate development and add to the five international awards it received last year.
The Arabian Travel Market is the region’s leading travel and tourism networking, the event, dedicated to unlocking the business potential within the Middle East and pan-Arab region, attracted the highest visitor turnout in its 14-year history with buyers from 108 countries attending the 2007 event. The event brings exhibitors together tour operators, leisure buyers as well as the industry’s most influential meetings, incentive and corporate buyers.
Organized at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC), Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) from May 6-9, this year’s event is likely to attract 23,449 players from over 100 countries.
