Wataniya Telecom Contributes to Development of Student’s Skills through Injaz Kuwait
Wataniya Telecom supports the "success skills" program and provides 22 volunteers
Part of its contribution in aiding the development of youth in Kuwait, Wataniya Telecom is sponsoring the ‘Success Skills’ program that has been recently launched by Injaz Kuwait, which in turn will contribute to youth education and training in business management and entrepreneurial skills intensively for a period of 8 - 10 weeks.
Through its sponsorship, Wataniya Telecom has offered a financial support to Injaz student’s as well as providing 22 volunteers from the company with the intention of training and educating participating students. By doing so, Wataniya Telecom will contribute in graduating a total of 616 students in the coming year. Wataniya Telecom has sponsored different educational Injaz run activities since its launching in 2006, through its several activities that include sponsoring the ‘best company’ competition in 2007.
The initiative taken by Wataniya Telecom, which is considered as one of the most prominent businesses in Kuwait, and a pioneer in the communications sector, is derived from its commitment towards the Kuwaiti society and its responsibility towards development.
INJAZ Kuwait Success Skills meets the needs of a diverse group of high school students, by providing & engaging, academically enriching, and experiential learning sessions in work-readiness education and career perspectives. The Success Skills drives the students to look at themselves and take notice of their personal skills, especially their communication with their fellow students, families, and the people around them. It also introduces students to the importance of team work.
Success Skills is a part of the INJAZ Kuwait Program Adoption project. This is a national Project initiated by INJAZ Kuwait to enhance the Economic Opportunities for Kuwaiti Youth and implemented by INJAZ and the Private Sector. The purpose of the project is to serve as a common goal with the National Agenda; that is to promote the Kuwaiti educational sector, and help create a new ‘culture’ in which the private sector plays a major and direct role in the development of the educational system, and in closing the existing gap between the skills acquired through education and the skills required by the job market.
In addition to INJAZ Kuwait’s main role in introducing economic concepts and enhancing the students’ interpersonal and social skills, the program plays a vital role in the coordination between sponsoring companies and adopted programs.

‘Success Skills’ program is a great initiative where it aims at developing communication skills through real investment, investing in true local talents who are capable of demonstrating diligent work. Our proposal in providing support to this program was successfully achieved through coordinating with Injaz Kuwait Program, which is looked upon as one of the most active organizations companies that are keen on providing economic education to students. Through our dedicated commitment towards our responsibilities for the society and our students, we wish the best of luck to our youth and hope they positively comprehend the essential elements of the program throughout the remainder of the school year,” added Al Omar.
