Mark Lee has been promoted to General Manager of the Wafi Hospitality and Food and Beverage Division in Dubai.
In his new position, Lee will be responsible for two hotel properties - The Arabian Park Hotel and The Park Hotel Apartments - as well as 13 restaurant and bar outlets located at the Wafi complex.
Lee joined the Wafi Group in 2001 as General Manager of the Planet Hollywood complex, overseeing the operations of Planet Hollywood, Ginseng, Seville's and Planetarium. He was later promoted to General Manager of Arabian Park Hotel in 2006, and recently also co-ordinated the handover of Park Hotel Apartments, the newest property in the Wafi hotels portfolio offering 84 spacious studios, 1 and 2-bedroom apartments.
Lee has an extensive background working with international food and beverage operations and franchises, and has worked in several international companies spanning the UK, USA, Mexico, Spain, Germany, Hungary and Dubai.
"My first priority in my new role is to ensure that we consolidate all our sales, reservations and operations teams to jointly market and promote both hotel properties, as well as our food and beverage outlets," said Lee.
