Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), the leading Islamic bank in the region, has announced the AED 2 million winner in its latest Ghina Saving Programme draw, creating its second instant double millionaire since the savings program began earlier this year.
The electronic draw was conducted in the presence of ADIB’s management team where 10 additional winners were selected and handed each a cheque worth AED 10,000.
Mr. Abdulla Khouri representing the ministry of Economy and Planning attended the draw to ensure fairness and transparency in the process.
ADIB’s Ghina savings programme aims to encourage the savings habit as customers earn one raffle draw entry for opening the Ghina program and one each for every AED 20,000 that stays on the account for one calendar month. The savings scheme provide an opportunity to win the grand prize of AED 2,000,000 three times a year in addition to 20 cash prizes of AED 10,000 every month. The draws are conducted on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month and the grand prize is decided once every four months.
Winner of the AED 2 million, Mrs. Waed Hamed Al Abdullah expressed her happiness by saying: “First & foremost, I would like to thank God for his blessings and abundant generosity and I would like to express my extreme thanks and appreciation to ADIB. I've been pleased to bank with ADIB and to benefit from the valuable offers and innovative products they offer to customers.”
