In this special programme, Becky Anderson presents a selection of the most popular interviews from its ‘Connector of the Day’ segment on CNN International’s ‘Connect The World’ programme, and takes us behind the scenes to meet the guest bookers, producers and technical teams working on one of CNN's most successful interactive show segments.

Over the past six months, CNN’s ‘Connector of the Day’ has played host to an interesting range of guests including Nobel Prize winners, big names from the worlds of music, fashion sport, literature and even former presidents.

This special programme profiles 12 of the most popular connectors as chosen by CNN viewers including Naomi Campbell, Dolly Parton, Crystal Chappell Donald Trump, Pervez Musharraf, Ian McKellen, the Pet Shop Boys, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Richard Dawkins, Paulo Coelho and Desmond Tutu.

The ‘Connector of the Day’ segment gives viewers an opportunity to ask some of the world's most famous personalities a question via the programme’s dedicated website www.cnn.com/connect

Comments and questions have come in from as far afield as Nigeria, Honduras, Australia, South Korea and Canada and have included marriage proposals, people asking for help to start a business and one Pet Shop Boys fan offered them the promise of several bottles of vodka to entice them to play in Russia.

Ahead of Tuesday's programme, Becky invites viewers to vote for their favourite 'Connector' of the 12 most popular by taking part in the quick vote found on the show page’s homepage www.cnn.com/connect.

CNN also wants to hear from viewers on who has been their favourite 'Connector' to date. Some of the comments will feature in the programme.
