ALBAWABA - Violent clashes were reported in East Jabalia, Gaza, between Hamas security forces and collaborators with the Israeli government, Al Jazeera reported Tuesday.

Quds News Network said that clashes have been raging since this morning, east of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, between security personnel affiliated with the Ministry of Interior and outlaws collaborating with the occupation.

This comes a day after the Gaza peace summit, which was held in Shark el-Sheikh, Egypt, that announced the end of the 2-year war in the Gaza Strip. The summit was co-chaired by U.S. President Donald Trump and Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, with the presence of many world leaders, including Jordan's King, Italian and British Prime Ministers.

On the other hand, Tom Fletcher, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, said an additional $11 million from the UN Emergency Response Fund will be used for relief efforts in the Gaza Strip.

He wrote on X, "Tom Fletcher, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, announced that he has allocated an additional $11 million from the UN Emergency Response Fund for relief efforts in the Gaza Strip. This brings the total allocation to $20 million for the provision of food, water, shelter, medical services, and the operation of vital facilities, according to the UN official."
