ALBAWABA - A new Ukrainian drone attack struck a Russian oil refinery in the city of Tuapse, causing multiple massive fires on Tuesday, Russian authorities confirmed.

According to officials in Russia, the attack on the Tuapse oil refinery is the third attack on the Black Sea port in less than two weeks.

Ukraine's military confirmed it had carried out the attack, the latest in an intensified series of attacks aimed at disrupting the country's oil industry and decreasing revenues that help Moscow to fund the war in Ukraine.

On April 20, black rain fell on the town, leaving an oily residue following a strike on the oil refinery in Tuapse city, Russia.

Before the April 20th attack, the refinery announced halting production on April 16 after being damaged by a Ukrainian drone attack, industry sources told Reuters.
