ALBAWABA - Several people were killed in a shooting that took place in a school in the southern Austrian city of Graz in Steiermark state, local media confirmed on Tuesday.
Austrian media added that the suspected gunman was found dead at the scene of the shooting.
Local police revealed that an operation was underway in Dreierschützengasse street after the police department received reports of a shooting attack, DW added in its report.
The operation started at 10 a.m. local time.
Videos were shared on social media showing police cars heading to the scene of the shooting.
On the other hand, the ORF public broadcaster revealed earlier, citing a police source, that several people had been killed or severely injured in the school shooting, among them both students and teachers.
