ALBAWABA - A massive fire broke out on Saturday night in the facilities and floors of the Arab Hospital, one of the most prominent medical facilities in Mukalla City, in Yemen's Hadramaut Governorate.
Patients and medical staff were shocked by the huge fire. However, local media reported that no casualties were reported in the fire in southern Yemen.
Yemeni authorities said that civil defense forces were quickly dispatched to the Arab Hospital to combat the raging flames.
Security sources in Mukalla told Erem News that the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, but it started in the Faculty of Dentistry building, adjacent to the Arab Specialized Hospital, south of Mukalla.
Sources confirmed that other hospitals in Mukalla have increased their readiness to receive all cases, while Civil Defense teams were able to completely extinguish the fire in the College of Dentistry building and one of the hospital's facilities, without any human casualties.
