The Middle East and North Africa division of USRobotics has bagged runners-up honors at the Best Emea USRobotics Office award, it was announced by the company’s EMEA headquarters in London. The winners of the award were selected on the basis of sales and revenue growth achieved during the third quarter of 2005.

The award was presented by Peter Blampied, Director of Sales and Operations, USRobotics EMEA, to Sumit Kumar, Region Manager, Middle East and North Africa, USRobotics.

Commenting on the award, Peter Blampied said, “The sales and revenue growth achieved by our Middle East and North Africa division has been nothing short of remarkable, and is indicative of the massive potential for Internet connectivity products in the region. More than anything else, the award illustrates just how important the Middle East region has become to global USRobotics operations.”

“We are proud to receive this award, which we regard to be an acknowledgement of the collective efforts of the entire USRobotics EMEA team towards furthering the company’s growth in the region. At the same time, it underscores the credibility of USRobotics products in the Arab world,” said Sumit Kumar. “Today, computer and Internet use in the Middle East has become widespread, leading to an unprecedented demand for sophisticated connectivity products. This sustained demand has enabled USRobotics to steadily enhance its market position in the region.”

The award is the second honor conferred on USRobotics Middle East in recent times, as it closely follows the Best Wi-Fi Device award the company received for their recently-released Wireless MAXg product family. The Best Wi-Fi Device award was instituted by Windows Middle East Magazine, one of the top computer magazine in the Arab region.
