A number of US telecom companies and institutions are willing to train 100,000 Egyptians annually and employ them in the United States, President Hosni Mubarak's Political Advisor, Osama Al Baz, was quoted as saying by the weekly Middle East Times.
He said that the plan will be carried out soon, adding that a US delegation will arrive in Cairo next month to discuss the initiative, said the online weekly.
Egypt's main challenge is matching employment growth to the estimated 500,000 new job seekers coming into the labor market each year.
