ALBAWABA- The U.S. has resumed airstrikes on Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, with attacks hitting a function hall under construction and a residential neighborhood in the Al-Thawra district. At least seven women and two children were injured.
Videos from Sana’a show massive flames and destruction, with a function hall reduced to ashes. The latest strikes also targeted multiple locations in Al-Bayda Governorate, central Yemen.
Over the past five days, the U.S. has launched an intensified bombing campaign across Yemen, causing hundreds of casualties and widespread infrastructure damage.
The escalation follows US President Donald Trump’s vow to "crush" the Houthis over their support for Gaza and their blockade of Israel-bound vessels.
