US navy divers recovered Tuesday the bodies of seven US sailors trapped in the USS Cole after suspected suicide bombers blew a huge hole in the side of the destroyer, a senior US government official said.
"We have recovered seven bodies including two who were positively identified," a senior US government official said.
The bodies of five of the 17 victims -- who included two women aged 19 and 22 -- were returned to the United States on Saturday.
