The US-led coalition has conducted a total of 14 airstrikes against Daesh this week, reports Reuters.
Six airstrikes were carried out in Syria around the city of Kobani where Kurdish forces have been trying to reclaim smaller villages from Daesh. According to Reuters, targets hit included Daesh fighting positions, a checkpoint, and a vehicle.
Another eight airstrikes were staged in Iraq, targettinf Daesh's tactical units, buildings, and fighting positions.
