The US and its coalition allies conducted a total of 35 airstrikes on Sunday against Daesh positions, Reuters reported.
In Iraq, 25 airstrikes targeted Daesh tactical units and weapons caches near Mosul, a statement from the coalition said. In recent weeks the coalition has focused its strikes on Mosul, Daesh's main stronghold in Iraq.
The coalition targeted Daesh positions in Syria with 10 airstrikes. Five fighters were injured near Manbij following three airstrikes in the area, and another member of the militant group was wounded near al-Hasakah.
