Pressure is growing on the United States over the abuse of Iraqi prisoners after the publication on Thursday of more pictures taken at the Abu Gharaib prison near Baghdad.
The photos appeared in the Washington Post. The latest photos showed a female part-time member of the US Military Police holding a naked Iraqi man on a leash like a dog. Another picture featured several naked men forcibly handcuffed togeher in a simulated sexual position.
A third photo had another naked Iraqi bound over a metal bed frame with a pair of women's underwear over his head.
Another image showed an Iraqi wearing a black hood and cloak in what appears to be a mock Halloween costume.
Two wires are clipped to his fingers and the prisoner was allegedly told he faced electrocution.
The Washington Post said seven supervising officers would receive an official reprimand for allowing prisoners in their care to be abused.
