The US-led coalition conducted over a dozen airstrikes on Daesh forces in Iraq and Syria on Saturday, according to a statement released by the Command Joint Task Force.
In Iraq, 12 strikes were conducted in coordination with the Iraqi government. The Task Force reported destroying among a Daesh rocket position, supply cache, a large tactical unit and a bridge used by the group.
Coalition forces carried out six strikes in Syria, four of which struck three separate Daesh targets and destroyed the group's anti-air artillery piece, three vehicles, a mortar and fighting positions, the Task Force said on Sunday.
