Batelco Re-instates the Two Dismissed Employees
Upon an order from the Prime Minister HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Batelco is to re-instate the two dismissed employees Majid Sehrab and Faisal Ghazwan with effect from next week.
"We have repeatedly stated that we respect and appreciate all our staff as they are a valuable asset and key for our future success and prosperity,” said Batelco Chairman Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
"However, we also have to implement the law in cases where we believe actions by any employee may be against the interests of the company, employees, customers and shareholders. The action taken against the two employees was consistent with the implementation of law and must be kept in its correct context” he added  
"We hope that Majid and Faisal will now join their colleagues' in supporting the company to achieve its strategic goals, which ultimately serve the interests of all stakeholders,” he concluded.
