You will have to see it to believe it! Kiros Hadgu, a 23-year-old Ethiopian is currently showcasing a breathtaking act at Sahara Centre as part of Sharjah Spring Promotion. The act, called the ‘Afro Twister Show’, involves the conversion of the body into any desired shape.

Kiros, a contortionist with an unusual natural flexibility, performs extraordinary physical display of dramatic bending and body flexing techniques, capabilities which have been honed with vigorous gymnastic training.

Kiros, who is renowned as ’The Twisted Kiros’, has taken contortion to a totally new level, for he is also a magician and entertainer. Dressed casually, in East-African attire, the show involves an act where Kiros dislocates both his arms and legs and even turns his torso 180 degrees. He dislocates his arms to crawl through an unstrung tennis racket. He performs contortion handstands and unique acrobatics.

He uses his skills combined with his acting ability to conform his body into any shape. “I have been practicing every day for the last 12 years,” says Kiros. “God has made me naturally flexible which helps me a lot. I can also squeeze myself into a washing machine. I am having lots of fun here. People are amazed to see me and I can feel that on their faces,” he added.

‘This is my first visit to UAE and I think the audiences here in Sahara Centre are very encouraging’, added Kiros.

The shows will run every day in two sessions, from 6:30pm to 7:15pm and from 7:50pm to 8:45pm until February 27th in Sahara Centre.
