UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East "UNRWA" conference condemned Thursday upon the conclusion of a session the "unhuman practices" by the Israeli occupying forces against the Palestinian people, reported the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

The 24,000-worker-conference condemned in a statement the Israeli aggression especially the destruction of homes and schools, uprooting of trees, violating of holy shrines and assassination of national leaders.

The statement concluded, "all workers should offer real and effective support to help families in Palestine financially and morally."

UNRWA provides services for millions of Palestinian refugees in its five operating locations in the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.

According to reports, Israeli forces prohibited the agency's general commissioner Peter Hans to reach Rafah camp in Gaza strip Thursday to assess the destruction caused by Israeli aggression in the past few days but he was able to reach the camp taking a bypass.

Hans told the press that the Israeli forces intercepted the mission and refused to talk to them eventhough there were noticeable signs on the convoy.

He added that the Israeli practices would hinder any progress in the efforts for the resuption of negotiations between the Israelis and the Palestinians -- Albawaba.com
