Universal Concepts, the leading IT solutions providers for the hospitality industry, is unveiling its iConcierge interactive television system in association with RoomWithNet Worldwide at The Hotel Show.
The iConcierge system provides state-of-the-art interactive TV (iTV) at a fraction of the cost of normal iTV systems. Complete with user-friendly menu, high speed internet connectivity and infrared keyboard, and maximum security for safe e-commerce, the iConcierge system is easy to install.
“iConcierge will revolutionise the way in which hotels approach iTV. Often seen as an expensive guest room addition, we can install iConcierge for as little as US $399 per room; that includes hardware and software,” said Abhishek Bose, general manager, Universal Concepts.
To coincide with its Hotel Show debut, Universal Concepts is offering the iConcierge system for the discounted rate of US $399 throughout the month of June, and is also offering free hotel signage to properties signing up for the system during the month.
iConcierge offers a multitude of services, including Pay TV, Music on Demand, InfoHotel, games, information and email, all designed to provide greater personalization for your guest’s stay.
“iConcierge keeps the guest not only connected to work and family, through its high-speed internet connection, but also keeps the guest informed of what is happening in the hotel, adding an extra element to their stay. For example, a hotel can use its iConcierge system to highlight restaurant promotions, spa offers or its business facilities. And, with the easy-to-install set top box and system, hotels can quickly and efficiently upgrade rooms to iTV,” Bose added.
“We are one of only a few companies offering 100% digital in-room entertainment systems that are able to deliver all services over a single Cat5e cable, including VoIP, to both TV set and a computer monitor. Guests can use all services simultaneously, including VoIP, with no loss of speed or quality. Each system is tailor–made for the client, with a variety of options available, such as video–conferencing units and printers,” explained Andrew Prince, managing director, RoomWithNet Worldwide.
