Unique dance group performs
at Al Ghurair City during DSS 2008
Al Ghurair City, the pioneers of the shopping mall concept in the Middle East, hosted the ‘Art of Dance’, a unique modern dance group, who exhibited their flamboyant dancing skills from 27th to 29th July attracting visitors to one of the region’s most exciting events of the season.
Founded in the year 2002 in Belgrade, the Art of Dance modern dance group is known to be an exponent of a diverse spectrum of dance styles. As part of the itinerary for Al Ghurair City, the Art of Dance group tapped their feet to the rhythms of the most popular Latino dances including Cha Cha Cha, Rhumba, Samba, Salsa, Mambo, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia and Bolero, to name a few. Compared to typical ballroom dance styles, Latino dances are generally faster-paced, more sensual, and have more rhythmic expression. Led by Boidar Mihailoviæ Bole, Art of Dance is renowned for several live acts as well as specially conceptualised performances for television shows in some parts of the globe.
