Umniah Contributes to Building a Healthier Jordan

Stemming from its strong sense of social responsibility, Umniah recently partnered with the Jordan Health Communication Partnership (JHCP) Program, a program geared towards promoting health awareness in Jordan.

Through its support for this initiative,. It also assisted in distributing the program health awareness brochures and fliers to visitors in all its showrooms and offices and shops across the kingdom. The partnership was officially launched at a gala dinner held

The Jordan Health Communication Partnership (JHCP) Program is a national initiative, aimed at achieving healthier Jordanian families. The program is implemented with technical assistance from Health Communication Partnership (HCP)-Johns Hopkins University, the Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Center for Communication Programs (CCP). Funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), JHCP is implemented by Jordanian partners from the public, private and NGO sectors in coordination with the Ministry of Health.

Commenting on the company’s involvement in this program, Umniah’s CEO Mr. Joseph Hanania said, “We are honored and even proud to be contributing to the creation of a healthier Jordan. Our contribution is only small in comparison to the weight of good will it holds, for we at Umniah see ourselves as an integral part of this community and with our contribution to bringing up a more health conscience Jordanians”.

Mr. Hanania further added that this is not the first contribution Umniah makes to the community and he affirmed that it will not be its last.
