Ukraine launches biggest drone attack on Moscow

ALBAWABA - The Russian defence ministry revealed that Ukraine has launched its biggest-ever drone attack on Moscow since the start of the war on Feb. 24, 2022. 

AFP reported citing the city's mayor that Russia shot down 32 drones fired by Ukraine targeting the Russian capital of Moscow overnight. 

One woman was injured in the Ukraine attack as well it forced the temporary closure of three airports.

Officials in Moscow revealed that the woman who was injured was a 52-year-old. In addition, two homes were set on fire in the village of Stanovoye in Moscow.

"Thirty-two drones headed for Moscow have been destroyed," Mayor Sergei Sobyanin posted on Telegram.

Nonetheless, footage circulated showing a house on fire, apparently in the Ramenskoye district.
