Turkmenistan's Deputy Prime Minister for Oil and Gas affairs Yoli Gorban Muradov, and his delegation arrived in the UAE Monday on a two-day official visit, during which he will meet a number of UAE officials. He was received by Obaid bin Saif Al Nasseri, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Nasser Al Sharhan, Under Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and the Charge d'Affaires of Turkmenistan.
In a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, Muradov said that his visit to the UAE was in response to invitation from Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and aims at preparing for the visit of President Saqar-Murad Niyazov to the UAE. The date for the visit will be decided later. He said that his talks with UAE officials would deal with a number of economic, trade, oil, gas, health and other issues. (Albawaba.com)
