A team of the UAE Red Crescent Society led by Dr. Saleh Al Ta'ei, Director of RCS' Relief and Projects Department, left Abu Dhabi on Sunday for Bangladesh to take part in the Partnership Conference of South Asian Countries to be held in Dhaka from March 4 to 7, according to WAM.
Several countries are scheduled to take part in the conference, including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
For his part, Al Ta'ei said the UAE team will announce during the conference the donation by the society of Dh 400,000 for constructing houses for the victims of floods in Bangladesh. (Albawaba.com)
