In Al Ain, sheep owners have been asked to keep their animals inside their enclosures for a period of two months, in order to allow for the growth of plants during the spring season.
An ad published in the local press Thursday said all sheep owners in the oasis city and its outskirts ought to heed the instructions of United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and feed their animals inside enclosures, according to Gulf News.
"You are asked to keep your sheep inside their enclosures for two consecutive months to allow for the natural growth of plants and grass," read the advertisement issued by the Department of Agriculture and Animal Wealth. (Albawaba.com)
