UAE President, Morocco’s King Discuss Relations

UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan held talks in Abu Dhabi on Monday with King Mohammed VI of Morocco, according to WAM. 

 

During their discussions, the two leaders reviewed bilateral ties between the UAE and Morocco, as well as means of further enriching them. They also reviewed the latest developments in the regional and international arena, specifically the Palestinian issue, in wake of the escalating Israeli onslaught on the Palestinian people. Efforts to revive the peace process and ultimately end the Israeli occupation were also reviewed by the two leaders. 

 

King Mohammed was received by Sheikh Zayed at the Al Bahr Palace, in the presence of Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Fujairah and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. 

 

Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Lt. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Minister of Defence, Lieutenant General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, a number of Sheikhs and senior government officials were also present.
