ALBAWABA - Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, arrived in Doha on a friendly visit.
The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, was at the forefront of those receiving Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and his accompanying delegation upon their arrival at Doha International Airport.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan becomes the first head of state to visit Qatar since the Israeli attack on Doha on Tuesday, Sept. 9.
According to Reuters, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is also expected to visit Doha tomorrow.
The visit follows a phone call Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan made Tuesday evening with the Emir of Qatar, during which he expressed the UAE's full solidarity with Qatar and its support for it following the Israeli attack on its territory.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed the UAE's condemnation of this blatant attack, affirming the UAE's support for all measures taken by sisterly Qatar to preserve its sovereignty, security, and the safety of its territory and people.
