College becomes first e-learning educational institution specialised in TQM in the Arab World to be officially recognised
The president of the e-TQM College, the pioneering e-learning institution specialized in offering Total Quality Management education, Lt. general Dhahi Khalfan Tamim announced today (Saturday, June 15, 2006), that two of the college’s programs have been granted academic accreditation by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, making it the first e-learning institution specialised in TQM education in the region to receive such a recognition.
With this accreditation, the Bachelors of Art in Business and Quality Management, and the Masters of Science in Organisational Excellence offered by the college have become officially recognised. Both these programs are now open for admission through the college’s website, www.etqm.ae. The College has also announced that it will hold an open day for the public on the 22nd and 23rd of July to introduce the college, its programs and its teaching committee.
The BA Business and Quality Management course offered by e-TQM College is based on the premise that learners will have a broad and comprehensive perspective on business and all the important matters that affect organizations at macro and micro levels. The course contents will cover areas of business, management, quality, accounting, statistics, marketing and economics.

The MSc in Organisational Excellence, through a blend of theory and practical insights, seeks to give a total, integrated perspective on the factors that support the development of organizational excellence in a modern business environment. The program looks at how total quality management and related and associated concepts can shape the competitiveness of organizations and ensure their survivability for the future. The course follows a powerfully blended learning approach that truly integrates the benefits of classroom learning, self paced and online learning.
