Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of Communications, is due to leave Dubai Sunday for Doha as head of a UAE delegation to the meeting of the General Assembly of the Arab Satellite Corporation, ARABSAT, to be held in the Qatari capital.
According to Emirates News Agency, the agenda contains a number of subjects, including discussion of a report on the corporation's financial and technical situation, a final statement of accounts for 2001, as well as the estimated budget for the 2002.
A number of top officials at the Ministry of Communications and at the Emirates Telecommunications Corporation, Etisalat, will accompany Al Tayer to the upcoming meeting. (Albawaba.com)
