Two Moroccan Officials Jailed for Corruption

A Moroccan court has sentenced a locally elected representative to 18 months in jail for corruption, reported the official Maghrebe Arab Presse (MAP). 

The same court sentenced another community leader to eight months in jail for the same offense. 

The two were found guilty of accepting bribes to deliver construction and commerce permits to citizens, said MAP - Albawaba.com
