ALBAWABA - Russian forces carried out an overnight attack on Ukraine's capital Kyiv leaving at least two people killed, the city's military administration said Thursday.
The announcement came after an earlier warning of incoming missiles that left around a dozen injured as well.
"Unfortunately, we have two dead. These people were killed by the Russians," Tymur Tkachenko, head of Kyiv's military administration, posted on Telegram.
The escalation of Russian strikes and diplomatic stalemate came ahead of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio's meeting with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, on Thursday on the sidelines of the ASEAN foreign ministers' meeting in Kuala Lumpur.
