ALBAWABA- Fierce clashes erupted east of Gaza City on Saturday as fighters from the Al-Qassam Brigades engaged Israeli forces in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood at precisely 3:00 PM.

The Palestinian resistance group reported inflicting casualties on the occupation army, confirming that several soldiers were killed and wounded during the confrontation.

Israeli media later confirmed the deaths of two soldiers and acknowledged that many others were injured in what was described as a well-executed ambush.

Simultaneously, the Al-Quds Brigades announced that its fighters had successfully targeted and killed an Israeli sniper positioned atop Al-Muntar Hill in the same area, further highlighting the intensity of ongoing resistance operations in eastern Gaza.

Amid the escalating violence, a Palestinian civilian was martyred in an Israeli drone strike that targeted the Qizan al-Najjar area in the southern city of Khan Yunis, adding to the mounting toll of lives lost under continued bombardment.

The humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza continues to provoke global outrage, including from within the Jewish community in the United States.

Jewish Voice for Peace, a prominent advocacy group, issued a powerful statement denouncing Washington’s role in the conflict. “We demand an end to our government's complicity in the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their land,” the group declared, also calling for a halt to U.S. weapons transfers to Israel.

The group emphasized that over two million Palestinians in Gaza remain under siege, suffering daily from Israel’s military campaign and the blockade.
