Two Israeli passenger buses were pelted with stones Saturday night as they went through Israeli Arab communities, injuring several people, military sources said.
One bus on its way to Tiberias was hit by rocks in the town of Musraf, lightly injuring three passengers, the sources said.
A second bus was attacked as it went through the village of Kfar Yafia, they said.
It was not immediately clear who threw the stones.
In early October some members of Israel's Arab minority launched large, violent protests in solidarity with the Palestinians. Police clamped down on the demonstrations, killing 12 Israeli Arabs.
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak's government will decide Sunday on whether to create a commission to investigate the clashes between Israeli forces and both "Arab and Jewish Israeli civilians," his office said earlier in a statement – JERUSALEM (AFP)
