Two Bulgarians died after their yacht sank in bad weather off the northeastern Algerian coast, newspapers in Algiers reported Sunday.
Two others survived the accident Friday near Annaba, some 600 kilometers east of the Algerian capital. The four had barely left Tunisian waters on their way to Spain when bad weather struck off of Chetaibi, near Annaba, the reports said.
The two survivors, named by Le Jeune Independant as Rose Rajev, 29 and Velcame Alescendre, 33, swam ashore while the other two drowned. No official confirmation of the accident was available Sunday. (Albawaba.com)
