Turkey’s parliament has further tightened internet controls.

The move comes on top of February’s legislation that made it easier for the authorities to block access to web pages.

New laws allows TIB the telecoms authority to block sites on the grounds of national security and will have access to individuals’ browsing history.

The new legislation has prompted public outrage raising concerns about free speech.
