Tunisian Prime Minister Mohamed Ghannouchi said his current visit to Tehran centers on economic issues, reported the official Iranian news agency (IRNA).

"We try to define a lawful framework for cooperation between the two countries' businessmen, and clear the way for joint ventures," Ghannouchi said Friday upon arrival to Tehran for a four-day official visit.

He said that Tehran and Tunis would sign a bilateral trade agreement, and hold talks with political and economic officials during his stay, the agency quoted him as saying.

The Tunisian official expressed hope that Iranian President Mohammad Khatami would visit Tunisia in the near future.
