Tunisia is set to celebrate a record year for British visitors this year. The Tunisian National Tourist Office is predicting 360,000 UK arrivals in 2005 - an increase of 20% compared to the figures of last year.

Areas of growth for British tourists in Tunisia have included the beach resorts of Port El Kantaoui and Yasmine Hammamet as well as the islands Kerkennah and Djerba. Thalassotherapy spa breaks have also attracted interest from the UK market.
