ALBAWABA- US President Donald Trump is set to sign a series of military-focused executive orders, including deploying a U.S. version of Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system, according to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

The orders aim to overhaul several Pentagon policies, including removing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, reinstating troops discharged over COVID-19 vaccine mandates, and banning transgender individuals from military service.

Trump has already restored full pay and benefits to service members dismissed for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine.

The plan to develop a U.S. missile defense system, often likened to Israel’s Iron Dome, aligns with Trump’s earlier campaign pledge to create a “force field” protecting the nation from aerial threats.
