ALBAWABA - In a recent development, former U.S. President Donald Trump is facing allegations of sharing confidential nuclear information regarding American submarines with an Australian business figure shortly after leaving office.

According to reports in the American media, Trump had a meeting with the Australian businessman at an exclusive club in Florida.

While The New York Times has not disclosed the source of its information, it claims that the individual Trump met with is Antony Pratt, the head of one of Australia's largest packaging companies.

As per the reports, Trump responded by allegedly sharing details about the precise number of nuclear warheads routinely carried by U.S. submarines and how close they could potentially get to Russian submarines without being detected.

ABC News mentions that Pratt later shared this sensitive information with his employees, numerous foreign officials, and a few journalists.

Sources speaking to The New York Times have described Trump's statements as potentially jeopardizing the U.S. nuclear fleet.

Aside from the classified document case, the former president faces three separate indictments, including one at the federal level, another related to his efforts in Georgia to overturn the election loss and stay in power, and a third in New York for allegedly paying hush money to a porn star during the 2016 election.

Currently, Trump is also facing a trial in New York over allegations of inflating the value of his assets in a fraudulent manner to secure better terms from banks and insurance companies. Despite these legal challenges, he has announced his candidacy for the presidency for a second time in the upcoming elections, vehemently dismissing all charges against him as a "witch hunt."
