Trevipak Expects Revenue to Grow by %16 to AED 17.5 Million in 2008
Trevipak, the brand name of Triveni Packaging Co. Ltd., part of Triveni Group of Companies, the industry leader in packaging machinery and material supplier in the Middle East, today announced that it expects 2008 revenue to be AED 17.5 million in its year-end reporting, a 16 percent increase compared to AED 15 million in 2007.
The growth of the food and beverage industry and the establishment of various free zones and industrial parks–the UAE Free Zones are home to more than 4000 companies –have played an instrumental role in attracting manufacturing industries which have made packaging companies such as Trevipak crucial to the industry. IMES, a leading firm of international consultants forecasts that the UAE alone is expecting 15-20 percent annual increases in packaging categories such as dairy, soft drinks and flexible packaging.
“The Middle East is one of the fastest growing markets in the world for packaging industry fuelled both by an increase in the consumer spending and the increase in exports of empty packaging materials,” said Manoharan K. General Manager of Trevipak. “Over the last 15 years, we have worked closely with many companies in the gulf region and provided them with the most innovative packaging solutions. Till now, we have sold more than 4,738 packaging machines, and will continuing selling many more machines in the years to come; Trevipak is a total packaging solution provider.”
Established in 1993, Trevipak has the largest showrooms for packaging machinery in the UAE. Since establishment the company objective was and still is to bring the latest packaging technology to provide an increasing range of innovative quality products to consumers throughout the Middle East region. It offers a comprehensive range of packaging machines designed to meet its customers’ product identification needs, including: Shrink wrap, strapping machines, induction sealing, metal detector, vacuum packaging, fruits and vegetables warps labeling machines and dates foam packaging machines.
“The fact that around 90 percent of consumer goods industries in the UAE are close to self-sufficiency with local demand for carbonated soft drinks, packaged water and yoghurt met by local producers, boosted the demand for our packaging machines significantly,” added Manoharan. “Moreover, many machinery purchasers are starting to recognize the inherent benefit of incorporating the latest packaging technology into their lines in order to strengthen their existing operations.”
Trevipak has recently participated in the Interpack, one of the biggest exhibitions for Processes and Packaging machinery & materials Exhibition held on 24-30 of April 2008 at the Dusseldorf Trade Fair Center in Germany in order to keep up-to-date with latest technologies and bring them back to the Middle East packaging sector.
