ALBAWABA- In a devastating incident, a boat capsized in Vadodara's Harni Motnath Lake in Gujarat, India, leading to a tragic loss of lives.

 The police reported that the death toll has risen to 16, with rescue efforts underway. Chief Minister of Gujrat, Bhupendra Patel is expected to visit the scene.

The state government has announced compensation of Rs 4 Lakhs, approximately ($5000) for the next of kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 ($620) in aid for the injured.
