A bus traveling on a highway linking the Moroccan capital of Rabat to Casablanca crashed Tuesday morning, killing 17 people, the official MAP news agency reported.
The crash took place near Ain Harrouda, some 17 kilometers north of Casablanca, MAP added.
Around 27 people were injured, some seriously. They were taken to local hospitals for treatment, police said.
The bus was on its way to Rabat from Marrakesh when it
crashed. The cause was not immediately available. (Albawaba.com)
