In a landmark association bringing two global brands together, TOTAL Lubricants Middle East will join hands with Yellow Hat to become the exclusive supplier of the hi-tech lube change facility in the Yellow Hat centre located in Nad Al Hamar (Dubai) due to start operations in April this year
TOTAL lubricants will also be available at Yellow Hat’s auto-accessory stores in the region, the first of which was launched by the Sharaf Group at Times Square Center Mall in Dubai last January. TOTAL lubricants occupy a prime space on their retail racks as one of the ‘favourite local brands’ in the UAE.
Founded in Japan in 1961, Yellow Hat offers a huge range of quality car products at affordable prices in a superstore format with a policy of only dealing with the highest quality suppliers from around the world. Last year Yellow Hat signed an exclusive franchise agreement with Sharaf Group who has already committed for an ambitious development plan.
Commenting on the group’s association with TOTAL, Sharaf managing director, Yousuf H. Sharaf, said: “The association with TOTAL is another feather in our cap for what has been a hugely successful Middle East launch of Yellow Hat.
"Within the first month of operation, the Times Square Centre is reaching sales targets we didn't expect until six months down the line. We expect the Nad al Hamar centre, which will include a full service site with a large retail showroom, installation and full service facility, including oil and lubes, wheel and tyre fitting and balancing, brakes and suspension and cleaning and finishing, to be met with similar enthusiasm.
"Our 2008 plan is to open several more Yellow Hat stores throughout the UAE and we hope our partnership with TOTAL will grow with us."
